Fabric Care

Laundry tips for sun-kissed Darlings

  • Cool & Careful

Wash in cold water and spot-clean small stains. It helps your favorite pieces stay flawless and saves energy, better for your clothes and the planet!
  • Wash Less, Love More

Only wash when needed, your clothes and the planet will thank you. Less washing means saving water, detergent, energy, and time. Kind to your wardrobe, kinder to the earth.
  • Let the Breeze Do the Work

Skip the dryer, darling! Hang your pieces to air-dry and keep them looking fresh while reducing CO₂ emissions. A little sunshine goes a long way!

Linen Care Guide

    • Begin by sorting your linens into separate loads - whites, darks, and colors. For optimal results, turn your linens inside out and wash them apart from heavier items like jeans or towels.

    • Opt for lukewarm water (<40°C/104°F) to prevent shrinkage (up to 10%) and maintain linen's durability.
    • Fill a basin with lukewarm water and a teaspoon of mild detergent.

    • Submerge your linen garment, allowing it to soak for about 10 minutes.

    • Gently agitate the fabric without wringing or scrubbing.

    • Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is gone, then hang to dry.
    • Best avoided, as bleach can weaken fibers and cause discoloration. Stick to the gentle washing routine outlined above for stain removal. Bleach is a no-go!
    • Linen naturally softens with each wash, and stone-washed linen is already at peak softness. Skip fabric softeners, as they can diminish absorbency and moisture-wicking properties.
    • Embrace linen's natural wrinkles, but if pressed perfection is your aim, use a medium-hot iron on damp fabric or with a damp towel.
    • Ensure linens are completely dry before storage to prevent mildew. Opt for cool, dry, well-ventilated spaces away from direct sunlight.

Polyester Care Guide

    • Treat your polyester pieces to a machine wash in cold water, inside-out.

    • Opt for a gentle cycle to preserve the fabric's integrity.

    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach to maintain vibrancy.

    • Wash with like colors and fabrics only.
    • For a more delicate touch, hand wash your polyester garments in lukewarm water.

    • Gently agitate the fabric and rinse thoroughly.
    • Skip the bleach! Polyester is best kept away from harsh chemicals.
    • Polyester naturally retains its softness, so no need for additional softeners.
    • If you desire a wrinkle-free finish, iron on low heat with a cloth between the iron and fabric.
    • Air-drying and store your polyester pieces in a dry and cool area, away from direct sunlight.

    • Avoid hanging heavy items on polyester garments to prevent stretching.
